Awesome series as well, did you know a new one just came out a couple months ago?

"American Gods" by neil gaiman was really good. Supposedly he has another really good book but i forget the title.

American Gods was great, Nevermore or Anansi Boys is the other book you are probably thinking of.

For my suggestion, try The Mistborn Trilogy. Fantasy as well, by Brandon Sanderson (the guy who is finishing The Wheel of Time series, also a recommendation, but you might need more than the summer, as those books are huge and I think there are.. 13 total?) he also wrote some Conan books iirc.

American Gods was great, Anansi Boys is the other book you are probably thinking of.

I read american gods as my friend mentioned it being his *best* book. When i mentioned that to someone else i was corrected that anansi boys is actually his best book lol, i'll have to give it a read.

OP if you like Dan Brown, check out Michael Cordy. They're SO similar in style but I find Cordy to be a slightly better writer.
