Great.... Pegassus' Plan To Lead A Group Ride Is Snuffed By Rain

I know I should just leave it be but...

peggy, I don't understand your math. you're saying no ninja 250 'plastic spoons' as they're too slow? but you're saying you don't want your license taken away so you won't go 140 like those SS guys. but the ninja 250 tops out around 160. so how is it too slow? you're worried a ninja 250 can't do what? 120? seriously?

you don't have blonde curly hair and a civic do you?

:lmao:

Well I can tell you it was not going to be "noob friendly" or M1 friendly. I was planning to take 400-series highways to get there as fast as possible and spend a good portion of the day just touring the country northern roads. I've been in many group rides and there's no "in-between". Either some groups are too slow for me or too hot-blooded, especially ding dong supersport riders... don't get me wrong, I can cream any of these young race demons but I'm more worried about the OPP and losing my licence and my cheap insurance rates.

I once went with a group of about 16 bikes and wow man they had real slow-pokes in that group, I'm talking about 45+ year old guys with cruisers who made the whole group wait for them every 15 minutes. It was annoying. But then I have joined many group rides of supersport ding dongs who rode 140 km/h in country roads with 70 km/h speed limits.... screw that, I fear for my licence, I split up from those groups.

My group ride was going to be brisk but not double the speed limit, if you had a cruiser you were welcome but you better whine the hell outta that noisy dinosaur and be able to keep up with my brisk pace. 250cc CBR's and Ninja's in my group ride? Well if you wanted to bring a plastic spoon to a knife street fight you were welcome but it would had been at your own risk.

hahahahahahah peggy you never disappoint! i don't go to many group rides but id come out to this one just to meet you

Any stops in a Tim Horton's drive-through to confuse the police planned?

lol

LOL!!
seriously at this point, how CAN you miss this ride!! I'm in.
i think everyone here will be in.

This will be legendary.

Pegassus, keep us all informed. :)

I am also in... Could be the biggest GTAM ride all year!!

Wondering if he can give me some wheelie tips for my fz6, I don't think it can do them... Yuttttughhh

I ride a 650r, slightly quicker than a 250 - though still not a 600 ss.

Am I still worthy?

The criteria seems to be tricky. No cruisers (so I'm out), no 250s, no supersports.....YOU might have a shot!

We'll have to set up our own ride then... Mine's a cruiser too otherwise I woulda been in. It's a cruiser that thinks it's sport... sometimes...

Still cancelling Peggy? You've drummed up an aweful lot of attentions. Details wanted! Where to be and when to be there for the start?

lawl.
I need to meet pegassus

Anyone going on Peggy's ride don't forget to grease your axle sticks. No digital speedo either
