Wow unbelieveable just when I was going to organize a ride to Algonquin Park for Saturday rain ruins the parade. In 7 years at GTAM I never planned on organizing a group ride until this week for this Saturday and it rains, yeah right.
maybe the gods are trying to tell you something. That or they are trying to protect anyone that was going to follow....trolololol
BahahahahahahahaWell I can tell you it was not going to be "noob friendly" or M1 friendly. I was planning to take 400-series highways to get there as fast as possible and spend a good portion of the day just touring the country northern roads. I've been in many group rides and there's no "in-between". Either some groups are too slow for me or too hot-blooded, especially bing bong supersport riders... don't get me wrong, I can cream any of these young race demons but I'm more worried about the OPP and losing my licence and my cheap insurance rates.
I once went with a group of about 16 bikes and wow man they had real slow-pokes in that group, I'm talking about 45+ year old guys with cruisers who made the whole group wait for them every 15 minutes. It was annoying. But then I have joined many group rides of supersport bing bongs who rode 140 km/h in country roads with 70 km/h speed limits.... screw that, I fear for my licence, I split up from those groups.
My group ride was going to be brisk but not double the speed limit, if you had a cruiser you were welcome but you better whine the hell outta that noisy dinosaur and be able to keep up with my brisk pace.
are cruisers that slow?,I need to know as I am looking to get one after driving a small sport bike for a bit, thanks.Well I can tell you it was not going to be "noob friendly" or M1 friendly. Well if you wanted to bring a plastic spoon to a knife street fight you were welcome but it would had been at your own risk.

why u gotta be so dooshey?
********* me? Dude I'm not a politician to sweet-talk and lie to people with politeness, my group ride was not going to be "noob friendly" and I am not partial to riding with veteran guys in slow cruisers, well at least not in THIS ride I was going to have tomorrow Saturday. I have a policy of being honest and saying things like it is.
I am planning noob-friendly group rides around the GTA too, I enjoy riding with noobs on easy rides because they are more friendly and down-to-earth than a LOT of stuck-up supersport ding dongs that think they are Elvis I'll tell you that right now. Saturday's ride was not going to be noob-friendly and I was being honest about it. I can tolerate waiting for you inside GTA streets but not in the north on those long stretches of country roads, I would be waiting for noob riders all day long and not get a lot done.
