Last year I raised over $1100 for the fight against kids cancer and hoping to beat that this year...for those of you who know that I'm a teacher, this hits home for me in that one of my students passed away many years after a long battle with leukemia...he was a very happy child, never complained and we recently held an assembly to honor him on the anniversary of his death at school...his mom still struggles but his younger sister is what keeps her going (and the love & support she receives from us)...please donate if you can...

I don’t have a direct connection with this, but I do have 2 little friends claimed by childhood cancer.

Thanks Mad Mike...your generosity is very much appreciated...I don't have children of my own, but I often think of my students as such, and it's devastating to see someone so young have to struggle with this illness...enjoy the rest of your summer!
