Gps

550 works fine on a bike in all conditions.

I have a number of friends who ride with them.
When my 2720 lets go, I will be looking for a 550 or something like it.

I have this one for my car and motorcycle and I bought a RAM mount for the motorcycle and the RAM suction cup for the car and it's a easy transfer.

Not water proof but a ziplock fixes that. Going to see if my water proof camera case fits over it cause that might work better.

I picked up a magellan on clearance for $60 from CT a while back on impulse, it's great at night but is useless even in nightmode during the day. You can barely see the screen in direct sun, That's something to consider when looking at non motorcycle gps units. Like others have mentioned you can throw a ziplock bag over them in the rain, but if you can't see the screen what good are they.

My next one will be a garmin with the ability to import/export trips and routes etc etc.

Garmin 2720, 2820, etc from that generation. I like the UI more than the newer garmins, and they work the same otherwise

Use a simple Tom Tom at 79 bucks on a Ram mount. Have used one for 3 years now rain or shine. Vibration....BS.
