So this is been a great year so far for trackdays with us and we are looking for ideas on how to improve or make things better for
the upcoming events we are looking for input on your end to tell us what we can do better.......
We are also taking a vote on track configurations ie.. running it backwards one day, using only the perimeter another day, and so on..
Also constructive criticism is welcome.
so for september 3rd we are taking a vote on running backwards i will post the results.
other changes that are already in affect are watter wetter or engine ice is to be used no coolant (antifreeze) is permitted.
there is also a charitable bbq on site.
Thanks again for a great year so far and book your spots before there gone it will be your last chance to ride the rdt this year.

There is still lots of room in all groups register at gpbikes.com or call 905 4288983
looking forward to seeing you there

yes engine ice or watter wetter is allowed

Water Wetter, sure, but I don't think Mosport allows Engine Ice. They just don't have the specialized equipment needed to clean up the track after a spill.

Do yourself and everyone else a favour, use plain (distilled or de-ionized) water, or water & water wetter. No-one is happy with an hour delay to clean up a spill.

Okay just so there is some clarification it is up to the trackday organizer to make rules or policies on how there days are run......
ie coolant no coolant water wetter engine ice zipped sidestands safety wire and so on.
For the Gpbikes day we do not require removal of sidestands we do not require safety wire all we require is that you change out any (green) antifreeze for water wetter or engine ice as well as taping of all glass components on your bike tires and brakes have to be in great shape and no fluids can be leaking...
as far as why engine ice allowed is because it cleans easy and it is biodegradable please keep in mind engine oil is slick and hard to clean but everyone runs that because there is no other solution i agree that engine ice is fairly slick but it is easily removable I do prefer water wetter to engine ice but they are both allowed
thanks

Specialized equipment? Does Pro6 and Riders choice alliw engine ice at Mosport this week and next?

I beleive it's $145. I might be there.

The price is $145.00 plus taxes and there will be a charity bbq cost is $5.00
we will run the track in our usual format
please email jeff@gpbikes.com to register still lots of room

That's a HUGE change for the better. I was shocked you guys allowed coolant before. Btw, I was told by Jeff that all TD organizers are allowing Engine Ice now. That's incorrect.

We are running 3 groups novice, medium and hot shoe.
As far as engine ice I have only informed people that pro6 as well as us are the only people that use engine ice but I am sure more tracks will
in the future.
Sorry for any confusion but i don't believe i said all td organizers allow it when i know they do not.

We have decided to give away 1 free trackday.......
If you register before aug24th your name will be thrown into a hat and picked at the track the lucky winner will recieve there
payment back for the day.
Right now there is still lots of room so sign up for your chance to ride for free.
You can register online @ www.gpbikes.com or by email jeff@gpbikes.com or simply phone in. 905 428 8983
thanks hope to see you there

Hmmmm, I might take the baby bike out to play.

Can I come to the trackday with my 2 bikes and ride them in alternating sessions?

I would but I broke the other one :p... I assume you can do that only if you're riding in 1 session (otherwise you might have to pay for two track fees).

you can ride 2 different bikes in one session however if you wanted to ride in 2 different sessions then you would have to pay for 2
but its alot of riding and fatigue might be an issue
