Got my M!!!

I think 22 ? Read it somewhere

When you take a motorcycle safety course, you will get a course certificate. If you bring this certificate to a DriveTest centre, within six months, you do not need to take the M1 road test – you move directly to the next level (M2). You also will be able to take the second road test sooner, after 18 months instead of the standard 22.

I got a question, for the highway portion. Do you have to follow the traffic? or just stick to 100km/h ?

The tester told me not to break any laws. So I only went a 100km/h. We were only on the highway for maybe <1 km. I got on the highway and got off on the next immediate exit. I was told to do a lane change into the left lane when safe and then change back into the right lane when safe to do so.

I would ask your tester that question and any other questions you may have before the test. I asked my tester about blocking positions and the emergency roadside stop right before we left for the test.

Any questions you might have write it down and ask the examiner before you proceed with the test. Ex: If you do not have a 4 way flasher, how does he wants to go about you signaling when it's time to do the emergency stop. Scenarios like those you need to cover before you start.

Do not speed- for example, if you take the M2 exit at humber the actual test is on Sunday morning - between 8am til about noon-ish. Theres nobody on the roads and highways. So, theres no reason to speed to keep up with traffic. Although you have to get TO spped about 90-100kmh.

For the emergency stop - signal towards the direction, stop, dismount, hands up and back on.

Its 18 months if you took a certified course.

I need to do my M. I don't think I have enough riding experience yet. I got my bike in July and have only rode about 1500kms. I need to do a few more trips to the cottage. =)
