Yea I did it at the ministry. It costs 75 dollars. I booked my test online at:
https://www.irtb.rus.mto.gov.on.ca/
I booked mine 2 weeks ago. I'm from Windsor though. I'm sure there's a lot less people doing driving/riding tests which will make the wait time less here than the GTA.
Tips:
Keep looking at your mirrors every 5 - 7 seconds.
When doing a right turn make sure to do a right shoulder check for pedestrians that may be about to cross the sidewalk.
When you turn left, make sure to lane change into the right lane if there is one. Always ride in the curb side lane. That's one thing I wasn't doing.
Know your blocking positions.
When you're stopping your bike, don't drag your foot across the ground.
Know what a roadside stop is.
(turn on right signal, stop on side of road when safe to do so, if you have 4 ways turn them on, if not leave the right signal on, put down kick stand and get off bike. When you're told to get back on the bike and take off, turn on left signal, left shoulder check for traffic, and leave when safe to do so.)
Always check your blind spots when doing lane changes. (I honestly kept moving my head left and right every few seconds for the entire test)
Always have bike in gear when you stop. Left foot on the ground, right foot on the rear brake, left hand holding clutch, right hand on front brake.
I'm also pretty sure you're not supposed to change gears while you're in a turn.
Make sure you're at highway speed before you merge onto the highway.
DO NOT SPEED!!!
The process:
I went to the ministry. They checked my bike for signals, horn, and brake light. They gave me this crappy head set attached to a massive walkie talkie. The wire for the headset kept getting stuck between my seat and crotch. So whenever I went to hit the rear brake the wire would get tugged a bit and almost pull the headset out of my ear.
Make sure the volume on the headset is up all the way. If you can't hear the instructor, tap your hand on your helmet to let them know.
They just follow you around and tell you what to do.
Hope this helps. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
