GoPro in trouble ?

26% is supposedly 240 employees. I would link a source for this but the internet is being a nearly unusable ad saturated mess for me on mobile today.

I always thought the frequency that GoPro released "new" products was unsustainable, but their marketing has been incredible for the whole time they've been around. They have had a hand in shaping the internet as we know it, it would be a shame if they went under

Wonder how long interest rate cuts will need to take effect before companies can somewhat stay afloat and start hiring again.
Last I heard Tech in general is still not doing too well...except for nvidia because of AI.

GoPro has competition now

The still (arguably) have some of the best picture out there for non low-light. Their options for editing and adding stabilization in post is amazing as hypersmooth is the old reelsteady/go
Having the options to have 5.3k to downsample to 4k is great.... we dont need 8k really and files are too darn big. Their big big problem though is reliability (which can be solved with their subscription service somewhat) but there are too many people i do (and dont know) that have issues just getting their footage.

Insta360 has good options and pretty much took over the 360 consumer cam market share (replacing some of the regular action camera market share)
DJI as well has decent options although they have a bitrate fiasco with their last one that came out (but who cares they have a whole ecosystem with other amazing products to rely on)

GoPro cameras are kinda turning more and more into Iphone in their iterative model.... and it's going to chip away slowly at their user base as other options come out
