Check out the reviews on Amazon. There were/are some production issues and early adopters were not happy. Seems to have settled down recently with new firmware releases.

I have it and battery life is still not good compared to hero2. You still cannot see videos you have recorded using your gopro on iPhone app, can only see what it currently sees and I wouldn't call it realtime.

No iphone here but I thought that the updated app allows you to playblack the videos (maybe only on Android?).

If you can't wait for shipping from Apple...agree that's pretty ridiculous, like Apple is organizing a bulk purchase to justify the price...try to pricematch/pricebeat with Futureshop, Bestbuy or where ever has these in stock.

The latest version of the iOS app allows viewing previously shot video and photos. I think the firmware update is required as well.

Agreed about battery life, about 2.5 hours with the battery pack. The app is good for a quick check of the framing, but has about a 5 second delay.

Just plug it in when you're recording, battery life problem solved! Get one of those battery boxes on ebay and you could record for 50 hours on one charge, or just get a USB power jack and power it from your bike
