Does anyone know if there are reasonably priced helmet rentals for a 4 day weekend? Doesn't matter if it's GoPro or other brands. I just want one for a track school coming up in June.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Not sure on the price but Vistek rents them.
at the prices they charge you may as well buy one.
Ever heard of an 808 camera ( key chain cam)? HD only $36 shipped from eBay. Excellent quality.

Stick em on your helmet with Velcro.

Actually, terrible quality video, and not particularly user friendly. That said, I've owned one for a couple of years and will be trying it on my bike. Not expecting good results, though.
$36 is way too much to pay. The link above claims 1280x720, not sure if I believe it. If you really want to try one out, save some money: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Mini-Ca...518?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item33732e2aae $6.09 with free shipping.
By the way, the Chuck Lohr website is an excellent resource.
Best Buy has the Contour 1080HD on sale for $99....
If you have had it for a couple of years then you don't have the newest #11 HD model. And the quality is excellent and I assure you it is true 720p. You can pick up the old standard def model for less than $10 but don't bother.
The eBay link I gave you is for a reputable dealer.
Make sure you buy the correct model - not the same quality as a GoPro but for a fraction of the price nothing to complain about.
Edit: there is even a newer better #16 camera
