Goodbye Town Moto

I went into the store a few times and was not impressed. Staff thought they were way hipper than they were and not helpful. I remember in particular a young Asian girl working there who chatted for twenty minutes to her friend about nothing bike related, while I was clearly waiting for help. The store is tiny so there is no way she did not notice me. I ended up walking out.

I went in there a few times afterwards but the store was pretty much dead for me after that incident. With that level of service and their tiny inventory there was really no good reason for me to go there.

They were over a month late with a delivery of something I've ordered and were totally ignoring my very infrequent emails asking for a status update, until I threatened with a charge-back. Then they replied with something like "we made you a favour by taking your order so shut up". Had to take it to the distributor (Argyll Motorsports and Marine), who initially sent me to TownMoto to place an order, and they made things super right.

And according to the Google Maps reviews it was a norm for TM, so I'm not surprised they went out of business. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
