Good skydiving companies?

I went with Skydive Burnaby, too. The jump was great, the staff were fantastic, and I felt very relaxed the whole time.

I went to Skydive Toronto some years back. Cost was under $300 each booked as a group pre-season. The plane is held together by duct tape XD

Motivation to get the hell out.

lol yea. Crazy thing was they missed me in pre-flight training but that was ok because I already watched half a dozen people go through it. But when we got in the air I had to sit backwards between the pilot and the door because there was so little space. My tandem instructor couldn't clip on to my harness so he opened the door and told me to sit on the edge of the plane with my feet dangling out... Was really fun though.

Awesome. Where are you jumping? Iirc you jumped in a past life. How many under your belt?
364 to date.I probably won't use it till next year because I'm leaving on a cross/round/around North America trip soon. But i couldn't pass this skydive rig up. It's like new with less than 50 jumps on it.I got it cheap.
I'm in no hurry.

@Wingboy do tell about this upcoming trip...mucho interested...nice to hear that you're going...will be good for your mental health...🤗
Thanks for that.
My only plan is to take the ferry from Tobermorey to Manitoulin. From there, it's just a ride West and then down somewhere else. Tent for a few days then motel. Repeat. Gotta be better than here.

Seems like the parachute could make the trip with you. Get a jump in anywhere that looked interesting. Sounds like an awesome adventure. Ride safe.

I would love to mix it up. But a skydive rig is quite bulky and wouldn't be practical to carry. I have A and B licences with CSPA, so i could always borrow gear.

Wishing you a safe trip and good weather.

Also looking forward to the reports from the road.

I’d really want to know the guy selling a used chute .
Travel safe , there is so much to see and no required timeline makes this a perfect distraction.

The sport is very highly regulated. The reserve will get a repack by a certified rigger before it can be used. (it's mandatory every 180 days)
I will probably have days of 700km and some with 70km or none at all.If i find a place i like i may stay for a while.

One of my long range plans was to travel with a compact fly rod and fish interesting trout stream all over the American west. Then I added up all the cost of non resident fishing permits per state. Revised plan is watch other people cast, drink a beer in the shade and find a fish and chip place if required.
I'm envious of your trip.
