Good meeting place in Toronto ?

It's Tim Horton's because it looks stupid as hell to stand around motorcycles eating a plate of spaghetti and meatballs.

Noofie Fries or Burritos seem to be acceptable however. :read:

What? this is a fast food take out spaghetti and meatball place?!?

Maybe it should change to McDonald's hangouts now, cuz Tim Horton's coffee officially sucks.

...

naaaaah someone'll probably low-side on a burger wrapper in the parking lot

I always see people meeting up at tim horton before/after riding. What are the reasons ? Are there any other good meet up place to suggest in GTA ?

When I've organized rides, the meeting/start points tend to be gas stations with coffee. (eg. Esso w/ Tim Hortons, PetroCan w/ Neighbors Cafe, etc.) as it is a convenient one-stop place to empty the bladder, fill up the gas tank, and take in some sugar and caffeine as required.
As for ENDING a ride @ Tim Hortons ... well maybe after a short ride around the city, but as a destination for eats/refreshments, I'd prefer somewhere else. :)

It's odd, as a car club guy in my previous days, we'd hang out in exciting environments such as the Million Dollar...or Treasure's...or Whiskey a-Go-Go...

Bikers sure must love their coffee (I'll stick to motorboating between rides).

Best input yet.. we need to ride together.

No issues there - I'd be happy to review the finer points in pole dancing with a few GTA folks (one board member here can attest to our vociferous gatherings i.e. lil sushi; guys and gals were always welcome for the good times, and things were always much better when the gals joined us...and we got them on stage...or gave 'em lap dances...oh how I miss all that glitter).

Soon as these last few deals are all cleared up and I'm not required to be in different countries - I'll post up and gauge interest level (for the chaps who don't respond we'll just assume they traded in their man card long ago).

Interest level.... HIGH!

Valid question, Kri$han...and one I don't really have a concrete answer to.

Normally, with the car folks, we were at these places on "off" nights, whereby our antics didn't interfere with normal proceedings. I can see that approach working (maybe?) here in that if we go on a Monday night (for example), it would be quieter and the bar staff wouldn't have much of an issue with a corner full of helmets and jackets as long as the group is buying drinks and attempting to get the waitress to strip on stage with the strippers (don't laugh, that happened)...
