Just moved here and can't find a haircut place. Last place I went to it was a black guy cutting and man he was skilled! Anyone know any good places in richmond hill that don't cost a fortune and give good haircuts for men? I just hear horror stories....

You need to find someone that's good at cutting your type of hair. I have thick wavy hair that most hairdressers cut either too short or too long. I've tried the frou frou salons and paid for the senior hairdresser but still got a ****** cut.
My current guy I've been going to for probably five or six years, Silvio at Joseph's in Hillcrest Mall. Men's cut is under $30 which is a bonus.

I was gonna recommend Joseph's too. Silvio's hands could be steadier lately, but he's good and cheap.
If you're willing to do a small drive to around Yonge/Royal Orchard there's a place called Colour Central, Ehsan is excellent. Tell him Alex/Anne sent you. 28.50 for a men's cut+style.
This is true, Silvio used to be better, but still very decent. Tried a fancy place in Yorkdale about a year ago and felt like I threw $60 in the trash.
Will give Colour Central a try next time.
Why? I'm not look for underage boys to molest.
I usually go to Silvio if I need a crew cut/simple cut. It's just so convenient.

Man am I ever glad I was blessed with a beautiful bald head. My mom was a hairdresser when I was a kid, so the first time I went to a barber was when i moved out at 18. I went three times and said, "screw this shitte", and I've shaved my head for the last 14 years.
There's always the $7 Chinatown special if quality and style aren't your concerns.
You think that's bad? I spend 50 every 2 weeks. But the actual haircut's 25 lol

Maybe. But I think high-maintenance is only a problem when people aren't self-sufficient. I wouldn't be where I am if my barber didn't hook up my first job in the industry. Also, I've tried barbers all over the city & no one cuts my hair better. + I don't have to wait 2-3 hours like everyone else. With all that considered, it seems like a small price to pay.

Bicced my head for about six months in highschool, the amount I spent on razors would have paid for plenty of cuts. If I remember right, a Mach3 blade was good for two or three shaves. Shaving every other day, that adds up.
