They haven't filtered down into the used market enough for the price point I was looking for. Plus, I have a bias against GM for taking bailout money and closing the Oshawa plant.

The 1.6L Kia was a good car. No problems towing my beach catamaran but I'm building a slightly larger trimaran and I don't want to kill the new car prematurely. Perhaps towing shortened the life of the Kia, but I got 282k out of it with very little maintenance. People lose their __it over the topic of towing trailers with small cars, but my experience is if I drive like I had a driving instructor beside me, it's all good. I'm probably harder on my car when I'm not towing something.
