Stopped off in Shawinigan to get the Trou du Diable stuff, the rest I picked up in a different places. I unpacked a bag the other day and found 6 more. Most of them you can’t get in Ontario which is the main reason for picking them up!

Yeah, good selection over there. Stopped at a place in a little ******** of a town a few years ago and they must have had a thousand choices from around the world. L

That about as easy as the answer to ‘what is a good oil?’
There is no answer to this, all beer is great to some, others have brand loyalties, preference for a beer type - and on the flip side beers they dislike.
Just in case you’re thinking about buying it for me, I like a almost everything except the fufu stuff like blueberry stout, pineapple IPA, pumpkin-spice bock made by crafty types.
The best option is to find out what beer the recipient likes. Ask a friend, check their fridge.
You've got to be careful with that game. A friend gets a bottle of amaretto every year from one of their friends. Their friend thought they really liked it (they were wrong) and after a few years of gentle nudging that maybe it wasn't the best choice, they gave up. They have an amaretto cabinet for the stash and will give you some as long as you promise not to spill the beans.
