I am right handed but hit left in golf, baseball and hockey so probably cant help you with that determination. When you use a broom or rake or axe which hand do you have at the top? Its really only about how comfortable you are when swinging something

Where are you located, if not too far I can swing by and grab the clubs over a weekend that is convenient to you.

Right hand on top generally makes you left handed, which is what I have. I'm in southwest Brampton area (Steeles/McLaughlin). Let me know whenever you may be around here or I can meet you someplace closer (Milton/Georgetown?) on a weekend morning.
