Gloves for early spring + weatherproof

If you're anywhere near this place the gloves they are selling - Richa - get very good reviews.

Took a drive down there today.

My personal review.

What a really nice place. The owner, Mike is a really nice bloke. Very helpful. A warm welcome when I walked in the door.

None of this like he was doing you a favour by being there. Just the opposite. The only thing missing was a "Welcome Mat" Lol.

Lots of European gear. Oxford and some other clothes/gloves you will not find anywhere else.

Will most definitely return.

Thanks "Bagman" was well worth a visit.

I am no way connected with this store or a relative. Credit where credit is due.

Held Air N Dry has done the trick for me. It's quality stuff and it solved the problem of needing multiple pairs of gloves. They're not cheap and I was skeptical but when I started using them I could see why the price tag was so high. You get what you pay for. 3 seasons on them and going strong even after being exposed to many, many wet rides.

im interested in this too, how warm are they, in what types of temperature do you ride. I usually ride beginning of season when it's not too cold but not warm either. I have a thinsulate leather gloves from joe rocket but they don't do much after a few minutes of riding.

thanks

I live close by to this store. I went in a few weeks ago to check it out and I too felt very welcomed. The owner Mike is a real nice guy. I think I may have found a new source for parts and accessories now that is really close to home. His pricing is pretty decent too.

Hi all,

I was thinking of buying a pair of gloves to use daily that can withstand rain and early spring/late winter chills.
I have Oxford heated grips installed already so I don't need heated gears.
I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the new models of Alpinestars Apex Drystar gloves and Corozal Drystar gloves.
I rather go cheaper of the two and buy the Apex but I read that common problem is that the inside liner isn't sewn properly and wants to pull off with your hands?

Or what is your favorite model of weatherproof gloves?

try looking into the Held "Air Dry". They have Goretex and are guaranteed never to leak. They have two pockets in them. One is for the Gortex liner, and the other one lets your hand go straight against the leather in the palm. It works awesome with the Oxford heaters. They sell them at GP bikes. They're not cheap but they work great
