Getting rid of used gear

I'm cleaning out the M/C closet and wonder where to get rid of usable gear, 10-12 years old but never crashed or skidded. The helmets are only good for flower pots unless someone has other ideas. Is there a place that would make use of some textile and leather gear?

I'm not selling it but I've had too many people take free stuff just because it's free and they never use it. I might as well throw it in the garbage. Also the no shows and late shows really P me off. It's easier to just junk it but I'm open to suggestions.
 
Regear for the gear and local fire dept for the lids.
 
There is a place in Oshawa called REGEAR that will buy used motorcycle gear off you. They don't give you much for it cause they also have to resell it and make a small profit. But at least if the gear is in good condition it wouldn't go to waste. If that is your main concern. Plus REGEAR is a good place reuse items and help out riders that cant afford newer expensive gear.

Please give the helmets to your local fire dept or EMT service.

Emergency responders were trained to never remove the helmet from an accident victim.
Well they've changed their minds and now they need to be re-trained to remove the helmet, and they need helmets.

Toronto Fire Service won't take used helmets, they have a deal with one of the distributors to take old stock. Toronto EMT will though.
