Getting M licence with no bike

Well its still expensive, a bike rental should not be more than $29 a day everything included, heck a $30,000 new Chevy car costs $300 to rent for a week, thats about $45 a day, a bike is worth only 1/4th of that, $29 a day should be the right price.

Supply and Demand I guess...

When I did my M2X, two guys rented from gta exotics. One took the Suzuki GS500 and it was a bit of a POS but he didn't make too much noise about it. Aside from the fairings being rashed up a bit and a chain that was just far too loose, it wasn't all that bad. Another guy rented a cruiser, don't recall which one, it was in pretty nice shape.

I guess the cost of the rental beats having to start the graduated process again. BTW, my insurance discount from M2 to M pretty much covered the cost of doing the exit through RTI. Even if it didn't it was money well spent IMHO.

I'll rent you mine for $150 everything included but with a $300 (droppping) deposit which you WILL get back immediately as soon as you hand me my bike back at the ministry after passing/failing your test. You won't get any better price than that.

I just remembered that my sister has a bike, maybe I can borrow that and take the M test with the ministry to save money.

I see everyone else missed this, but exactly how did you forget your sister has a bike?

I hope you do realize that if ANYTHING happens while he borrows your bike, your insurance policy covers all his damages? And since you lent your bike to an unauthorized rider, your insurance company may even deny your claim and you become personally liable (SF made me sign a contract that does not allow me to lend my bike out to anyone, including my parents who do not have any M-class licenses). That $150 will go a very long way in covering thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars. :p

The difference between a car and a bike is simple. The chance of getting into an accident on a bike is higher than in a car, and accidents of similar severity cause a lot more injuries on a bike than in a car.

Don't forget, if your M2 expires and you want to get it again, you can write your M1 test and do your M2 and M test all in the same day! I think the time limit you have is 6 months after your M2 expires but don't quote me on that.

I'm too lazy to check, what bike is it?
