Is there any shops located in the GTA or in Ontario for that matter that fixes Gel Coating to a scuffed up fairing & front fender or is it just better to just repaint it???
 
I'd check with a marine repair shop. I really can't recommend any, but most the boat repair places do this I believe.
 
Are you sure you have gel coat and not normal paint? Gel coat is most often found on hard fibreglass things.

Post pictures and I'm sure someone will lead you in the right direction.
 
i highly doubt there would be a gelcoat on your fending or fairing.

if it is a gelcoat, contact Dr. Gelcoat in Tonawanda NY, he does mobile repairs, and for me, is worth the drive. ive had him do several repairs and complete re-coats.

that paint with clear coat and decals. contact a body shop.

Body and paint repair in a shop would around 400-600 bucks
$70-150 for decals.

buying new panels, more than likely be the same price or even cheaper.
 
ya i was quoted $70 to patch/repaint/reclearcoat the front fender, & $340 brand new from suzuki for the right side fairing without any decals though. Anyone have any hookups for a GS500F 2010 Right Side Fairing that can hopefully beat that price or no?

Seen one on kijiji today that was hit in the front. Side fairings looked good. And same color scheme.
Maybe he will part it out. I think he was asking. $1800 for the whole bike.
 
When I get home from work I will. But it will be late. I can't seem to cut and paste with my iPhone

I went on kijiji. Picked motorcycle. Then picked all Ontario. Then picked sportbike. And it was on the first page. It's a 08. Dont know if the style is the same
I'm just going by memory. Lol.

i won't have to paint mine, it comes stock from 2009 & up, found a place that is selling one just waiting to get rid of my GS-500R then purchase that one at the start of march . . . so excited:eek:
