Ya that's why i always stay on the bike with it upright, i squeeze every shred already. If you ride in some remote areas and you don't know where the next gas station will be, you'll be trying to squeeze every last ounce of gas in your tank and jerry can as well.
In northern Alaska, they close half of the gas stations in the fall and winter, so the distances between open pumps are calibrated for car and truck fuel tanks - roughly every 500 kms. They don't think that motorcyclists, with their tiny tanks, will be coming up in September...
They were wrong.
What the blazes. I have a centre stand and no way in hell I’m going to bother doing that for fuel!
aha!Really? I didn't find using the stand bothersome, once I got used to hoisting the bike up onto it of course. I just found it easier to get a full tank without having to balance the bike between my legs and reaching for the pump...on the heavier vfr it was useful, but on a lighter bike not such an issue I suppose.
aha!
Now it makes more sense. Yeah if i had an issue balancing the bike upright i'd probably opt for the stand too.
That's a good point, the direction my bike faces is often dictated by the slope of the lot to make it easier to pop it up on the stand.I generally stay on the bike when filling, in and out as quick as possible. If on a trip and I am getting off for fuelling I will generally put it on the centre stand. Not a difficult thing to do, even with a loaded pack mule.
always always always on the centre stand.

A or B for me. Either is fine since I then put the bike on the Centerstand (I'm looking at you Evoex Join us!)
You missed centre stand and center stand.Centerstanders of the world, UNITE!
Next thread topic: Centerstand vs Centrestand. Discuss.
My fancy F’in baller bike has tire pressure sensors, I just flick a button to see it lol. Chain probably self lubes too, better...for what it cost ?A or B for me. Either is fine since I then put the bike on the Centerstand (I'm looking at you Evoex Join us!)
My reasons to use the centerstand:
-When I was younger I would do C but it would almost always get the attendant squaking at me through the intercom and shutting my pump off.
-As others said, you can fit more fuel in when it's upright.
-After many long bike trips I've gotten into the habit of using the centerstand during a fuel stop. It also allows me to lube the chain, check the oil level and tire pressures etc etc.

Are you sure you don't have kids? Maybe there are some you don't know about. The dad is strong within you.You miss center stand me.
Doesn't your bike have the lifetime lube chain? I saw the press release on it but didn't pay attention to what bikes were getting it or when.My fancy F’in baller bike has tire pressure sensors, I just flick a button to see it lol. Chain probably self lubes too, better...for what it cost ?
I hire someone to drive behind me to check my oil level.

Factory option. It’s been discussed quite frequently in BMW chats. I think a few will pull the trigger soon.Doesn't your bike have the lifetime lube chain? I saw the press release on it but didn't pay attention to what bikes were getting it or when.

Here I am with my 21 year old bike and Evoex is taking his shoes off before he gets onto his ?
I think the chain is made from Mithryl on his bike too
