Curious to what GPS you are using? One of the Garmin GPSMap , Etrex or Montana series?

It's a gpsmap 62s IIRC. I had one of the 60cx that took quite a beating. This one doesn't seem to be holding up as well.Curious to what GPS you are using? One of the Garmin GPSMap , Etrex or Montana series?

Yeah. Hasn't seen much dirt use either. Spends most of its time on my 690. Works fine but there's condensation under the screen cover.Interesting. They are supposed to be quite ruggered..Do you have it on the bars mounted with a RAM mount?
Ganny is in really good shape, was up there today.
Lots of fallen trees, bring a saw.
Saw?You have a Sherco now.
Also not giving two ***** about when the ganny opens.Yep and it got used today. Unbelievable, it's a whole new world of not giving two ***** about trees

He's most likely riding on private property in Ganaraska Forest, and not illegally riding in the trails.
Based on his self righteous reply to a legit comment, I'm not so sure about that.
Perhaps he can clarify for us then. Was he authorized to be riding in a closed private forest?
You guys are a joke. No i was not authorized but based on the reason why I was there, I don't feel bad about it at all. I could have chosen to ride on my Friends land 5 min away but there is a reason why we went there.
Many people in here fast to jump on a keyboard to criticize but didn't see many of you out there helping and contributing to clean up a place we all use.
Anyways, it is Monday and I don't feel like responding to gtam types anymore, you guys have fun.
I have to agree with you here. Doesn't matter the intent. Property is closed to motorized vehicles unless you have special permission.....and you are correct this does not look good for the rest of us.I hope you're lumping yourself into that "GTAM types" ********.
You were illegally trespassing by riding your bike in a closed forest. No, it does not matter why you were there. If you felt the need to be such a great guy and clear then trails, then you would have hiked them on foot.
Any woods rider should know that the trails will need clearing come the first ride.
But yeah, thank you very much again for trespassing and giving all woods riders a bad name.
In 2017 ganny opened up the weekend before may. Not sure if this was also the case this year. I have a friend who is going tommorow and will be reporting back. Another guy I know lives on property there and from his mountain bike excursions he says there's still snow in the really shady spots. But man today and tommorow will be nice so I think that snow will get blasted.
