Just in case you can't make it down to check out the Bike Show this weekend, or if you just want to see what's there... here's a 200-plus image gallery.

Peace.

Great pics ronnie.

Everyone who didn't go to the show yesterday has to thank ronnie for this gallery; now there's no need to go. While I was glad to see and sit on the new 1290 Superduke, I can do that at Apex shortly. The show is not worth your $17 or your $14 for parking. The show is small and there was no "pop". This is the manufacturer show for the biggest city in the country? It is a "small fries" show.

Holy negativity. I bought a ticket early for $15 and this show was completely worth it. Looking at photos online will not allow you the opportunity to try on dozens of bikes for your own personal fit without having to talk to someone intent on making a sale right then and there. Everything is gathered in one spot. You don't have to travel. You can compare between manufacturers in the same location. I didn't pay for parking because I took the train.

Another nice thing about the show is that it has live demos in the back area. I didn't see any because of the time but I liked that they were there.

Granted you have the collection of bikes all in one place... but you also have the Supershows for that, and those shows have a LOT more there. I've been to this show several times in the old venue on the December date and compared to those, this year's show is underwhelming. Believe me; I went there expecting to enjoy it as I have in the past. I found myself walking in circles wondering where the rest of the show was.

Something about a motorcycle show in Canada in the middle of winter seems like it was bound to be a failure. Looking forward to riding out to some summer shows this year though!

Huh?

There are no shows in summer. Rallies yes but you are going to be disappointed if you are looking for something resembling a manufacturers show

From what I read, the show split in two. The January show and this one are two halves of the December one you remember. I was at the January one and only Kawasaki and Harley were there and both had less than they did at this one.

The Feb show is good for people to get to on public transit and doesn't have booth babes or cut wearers.

Who knows what the future will bring but this is why.

Oh well, I'll be too busy riding to care.... lol

The January Supershow has always been its own entity and had/has nothing to do with this show. This is the re-dated/venued December show. In the past I've attended both the December and January shows where possible as they each presented their own content. As already mentioned, this show pales to the same deal in the past.

Can't be much worse than the auto show. At least half the manufacturers would try to get you to do online surveys/contests and way too many teenagers taking up space in cars they can't afford.

parking lot#3 was free last night, opposite the entrance to the underground. not sure if other lots were free. FYI in case anyone else attending this weekend.

Lots of online surveys at the bike show too. They don't bother me; I just ignore them.

Alright. Just got back from the bike show, and it was fantastic! I must say this show is great, far better than what I expected after reading post #2. I sat on every freakin bike at the show. Overall faves- the Yamaha 600 in gunmetal grey, the Harley Yes Harley Iron, The Kawi Z1000- awesome bike and the Ducati 858 Corse and 899 Pangiale great bikes. I loved the new white and green paint scheme on the zx10. My overall favourite which I would purchase and Just might is the Ducati 696. It fit like a glove and would be great for booting around town. I went back to sit on it at least 3 times, and for 9999 I thunk it was a great deal. Other notables were the Suzuki C50 'BOSS" a lot of bike for 8900, and the Yamaha Bolt very comfy but for 10000, i would take the Harley or the Ducati.

Also, Great deals on Helmets, If you're looking for a helmet now is the time to buy- some great deals.

What else can I say, it wasn't as flashy as the Auto show, but a damn good show IMO

I would love it if there was a summer show, perhaps something like they do with the rice rockets custom cars, make a weekend out of it, concert, drag racing girls girls girls! like a hot summer nights for bikes

Not enough dirt bike manufacturers there for me. The free program they handed out had a welcome letter from the GM of the show saying both Husaberg and Husqvarna will be there. Nope. I still had fun though checking all the new models out. Got my OFTR membership and sticker so bring on the trails!!
Bought one slice of Pizza Pizza and bailed on a pop after the price said $3.79. I'm still thirsty.
The stunting and trials show was really cool. Don't see that at the January show.

Took my 15 yo to the show on Saturday. We walked from Union Station along the Harbourfront and took in the sights firstly. We talked to training instructors for M1 courses when he turns 16 this May, got info on the Yamaha Riding Academy and he sat on a ton of bikes. His favourite was the Ninja 300 but the Harley Iron was second. I fell in love with the Moto Guzzi California but took an immediate dislike to the 'roid cheeseball guarding it. Had a lot of reading material for the train ride back. Great show IMO.
