Also, broadcast TV is 1080i@30fps (30 frame per second/ 60 fields per second) .. not 1080i@60fps as you say.
That was implied and both abbreviate to the same thing. Anyone who knows what they are talking about would not assume 1080i@120 fields/s (1080i@60 frames/s deinterlaced) as such a format is not used anywhere.

So to you 720p@60fps and 1080i@60fps, both fps means something different? Doesn't make sense. Anyone who knows what they are talking about would write it 720p60 and 1080i30 and 1080p30 and 1080p60.


You still haven't answered my question... Still think satellite is uncompressed?
