Front load vs Top load

The bike should be in the kitchen where there is better lighting and access to counter space ;) Who gives a **** how she gets dinner ready, not your problem either.

Bike should be in the dining room, she cant get you a beer if there isn't room to open the fridge door. The pot scrubber cycle on the dishwasher stops getting grease all over your fingers cleaning parts.
Dry the parts in the oven so you get no rust forming, use the bottom rack, she should be heating you a pizza on the top rack. Dont get this wrong. Mozzarella on a sprocket cleans right off, 90 weight dripping on the pizza means she'll be in the kitchen for another 30 mins heating a fresh one.

I'll ask if we have a front load or top load, must be one or the other back there, clean clothes reappear from someplace.

Don't over fill the front load with detergent, they are expensive to repair, haven't had to do it but my real estate agent knows a guy who fixes them and has told him stories which my agent passed along when we moved into this house which had a front load.

Make sure to leave the door open after it finishes washing, and depending how the front seal is you might have to wipe it down. With ours there is a lot of water that pools there so if it isn't wiped down after that's when the smell and mold starts. No smells or anything on the clothes.

It's cheaper to run but as others have mentioned you can't open it mid cycle to just throw something in and then close the door again to start it up since it locks closed.

I wish i knew what you guys were talking about, i've seen these so called machines in are basement, but put it down to the wifes past time. Like my motorcycle is my past time. Didn't think it was a guy thing.

there's high efficiency top-load washers on the market now...pricey and haven't read many reviews yet

been using a front load for about 6-7 years and it works great with no complaints from me...but the wife says she'd rather have the new HE top load when the time comes to replace

we're planning an extensive basement reno next year that will involve a serious laundry room so I gotta figure this out soon.....wondering if anyone has one of these new HE top-loaders??

We switched from top load to front load and couldnt be happier.

Everybody mentioned all the benefits of why a front loader is better, except this one.... its QUIET.

Our top loader made a racket. The new one is far, far quieter. Pure pleasure.

From my research, Whirlpool makes the best washer and dryer combo.

Is it showing my age when the first thought I got when I read the subject was VCR's? :p
