Free help with your new bike --oshawa

Bump.

Gerry bought an rd350 off me a few years back and I'd PM'd him a 'good job' for creating this thread. Turns out he'd fully restored the RD and wanted to check out a project I've got on the go (and I wanted to see my old bike).

He came by today - the RD is stunning - true flashback to '82 showroom condition. We chatted for a good hour about bikes/life/etc. Real good guy, certainly knows his stuff.

Wow, thanks very much Scott, was a pleasure to meet again.

Never done one, the hard part i hear is getting the flywheel off, ( from what i have researched) get the puller!!

Then real easy.

the job looks easy lol,I may just have gp bikes do it for me,some things I dont attempt and this may be one of them.

I can help out here in Oakville area. Been riding since 16y and doing all my own maintenance for 40 years. I will help you out (for Free) in order for you to do it next time on your own. Wide range of tools and bike lift to work with. I have also done some machining for a few riders on this site before when time permits.

Ladies and Gentilemen, the inquiries to me ( through email, and PM's) have basically stopped.
Obviously due to the end of season.
I will revive this thread early in the new season, have a great winter!

As Arnold said "i'll be back"

It might keep me from trolling too much
