Forks of the credit road to Guelph question.

Speeding motorcycles aren't a big issue in Alton, are they?

Not likely or else the bolted down humps would cover the entire roadway from edge to edge. This is more for the motorists who use Main Street north of where 136 turns east to reach the newer areas on the west side of Orangeville. The locals have tried all of the typical things: big home made signs, write-ups in the local papers, a radar speed sign and more recently the humps. I usually try to keep it around 50kph going through there, just to play nice with the neighbours.

Went for a ride to the Forks today and I noticed the speed bumps are already installed. Looks like Brian P. was accurate when he mentioned the location and intent to install the speed bumps. As others have also mentioned , these are the type that have gaps in them so that a motorcycle or bike can continue without going over the speed bump. One word of caution, you will notice vehicles slowing down to almost 20 km/h as they go over the speed bumps.
