For those who have a "superbike" tail, where/how did you get your foam seats?

I have been looking for custom pre-cut seats and no one seems to sell them here locally.
Where did you buy them from? or how do you make one yourself?

I got mine from Dave Buckland, if you become friends with him he'll make you one. He cuts them out of anti fatigue floor mats. Foam thats about 1/2 thick.

Tony @ Bluestreak Racing sells Woodcraft seat pads but I don't know if they are bike specific.

You could cut one out yourself from a foam mat, make a paper template then trace it onto the foam then cut. Attach with some good glue.

I doubt it really matters. Whatever the standard anti fatigue mat thickness is?

I think thinner is better. I don't want much grip through the seat, whats what my tank pads are for. I want to be able to move around on the seat easily.

Dave had mentioned that he made a seat for JZ that was cut out of TechSpec Snakeskin, i had thought the extra grip would impede my moving around on the bike, i forgot to ask JZ about it at Round 1. I meant to.. got busy. Oh well.

Riders choice has gorgeous custom cut per model black foam, the nicest stuff I've ever seen, and the most I've ever paid for a hunk of foam.

Same here, I bought from Riders Choice. it was pricey, but high fit/finish/quality for a peice of foam.

This is what i've got on mine. Kinda butchered it a bit myself, but it works good. Has a bit of grip but doesn't really impede any movements on the bike. And if you do butcher it like i did, it will slowly wear away at the edges and turn into a much nicer looking edge.
