Flying Squirrel

I’m sure it’s worth it for certain people.

I pay more then that per month (sans initial fee) to store my Duc. But I get additional space to store my crap and 24/7 access.

Will they negotiate with my current spouse? I don’t think she will be too happy if I will bring home another one, even if she was free.
You dont bring her home, she is only your spouse when you are there. Try to ignore the fact that she may also be his spouse and his spouse and his spouse when they are there.

I could see this model maybe working in a more central location, and a 80% drop in fee's.
Understand that they are trying to be exclusive and "unique" but it just looks like profits above everything else, at least from the opinions of people that have actually been there.
It’s a lifestyle that’s just pandering to the local hipsters and Distinguished Gentlemen in the area in prep for their annual ride.

It did start out OK.

When I was talking to the owner, he said he wanted to do high end all inclusive track days.

I can't see it making enough to keep the lights on at this point though. Might be wrong.

I agree with you.

As somebody else said, it seems to be a concept aimed at condo-living motorcycle owners. Whether there's enough of them around to draw a customer base is debatable.

"Flying Squirrel" sounds like it is "more or less" a down-market version of Hagerty "Garage and Social" out in Burlington on Corporate Drive where "people with money to burn" can keep their "Collector Cars and Motorcycles", hang out, and dine and socialize.
If you keep your motorcycle there, prices start at $425/month per bike or up (which includes your "Social Membership"). (If it is your "Collector Car" the price, per car, starts at $650/month) A "Social Membership" alone is $350/month.
Other than access to a restaurant, lounge, golf simulator, cinema, and a retail shop, you get "event access" (whatever that may be).

$5,100 a year sounds, to me, like a lot of dough to garage an old motorcycle.

For condo dwellers with too much disposable income it must make perfect sense. But not for folks like you and me.

Also similar to the country club folks. You can golf damn nice courses for thousands less every year. You may encounter riff raff and don't get to hobnob with others that have excess disposable income if playing public courses though.
