Florida - What to do?

lots of things to do. Main market downtown, hockey game, basketball game, charters, Everglade tours
quick trip to go out to Key West and back, it is doable in a day or quick overnight. South Beach

Jai Alai's fun to watch and gamble on. Been to the Dania and Miami frontons. Good times.
 
Drive 5 hours north and do a track day at Jennings ?

otherwise, enjoy the beach.
 
Book a last minute cruise. 3, 4, or more day cruise to Bahamas or Caribbean for cheap and you've already paid to get down there. Some will run you less per night than some hotels and they'll feed you like a king. Fort Lauderdale and Miami have great ports with lots of options.
 
I believe its abit north of Miami but you can book tee times at SawGrass which is a PGA golf course.
 
Nice I just booked a cruise for jan leaving Miami. I got two days to kill. Will check this thread.
 
Go out on a fishing charter
Book a sail boat ride
rent a car and drive through alligator alley in the glades
take an airboat ride thru the swamp
play some great golf
go to the beach and see girls that actually fit in a bikini
 
Rent a car or even better, a bike, and head down to the Keys. Awesome day trip!

Not true, since its touristy there is lots of stuff to amuse yourself with, the old folks means thousands of uber cougars looking for attention. The downhill skiing is a short season, but the reefs south of miami ahve some good diving
 
I go to florida quite a bit... if you are going to that area go take a drive along the tamiami trail( about 45 mins west of miami) and all around that area... its pretty sweet. You can see all the ators just hanging around, and if you are lucky( which I doubt) you can see the florida cougar( not the miami housewife kind either)lol.
Also, take a drive over to lil havana, cool little area and miami marlins stadium is right there. other then that, just enjoy the beach and bikinis.
 
Catch a football game if you like football. The dolphins are ok to go to but if you can go check out a college game its a crazy atmosphere. Boca Raton has a lot older people than Miami and there are a ton of homes that are half built and walked away from as people ran out of money, pretty crazy to see them all. If you are going with any kids than disneyworld is only a couple hours away, if no kids than stay the hell away from there lol.

In the cruise world you get what your willing to pay for, I've done Carnival, it is not for me. Not saying it isnt great for the thousands that go.
Lots of loud, party loving Americans and lots of kids.

Miami/south beach to Disney is not a couple hours drive, its a LONG way.
