There is a difference between chatting with someone and having them sit on your bike. The latter requires no self value. What sort of girl would ride with a random stranger and potentially put their lives at risk.

better to be the strong silent type much safer

the best thing about taking someone for a ride is that you can enjoy each others company without exchanging many words
