first time out.. bike falls in garage :(

Live and learn.. learn and move on.

yea so i was at a buddys house.. parked the bike in his garage.. bike was mint until it tipped over in his garage with no one near it! :( frame sliders did there part so there no damage to the farings.. but the case got nicks on it and also my shoei x12 that i just bought fell 2 :( just a horibble first time out cant believe it

I can do you one better. Years ago. My RZ500. Wicked bike. Super flashy. Had leathers to match.

Pulling into a gas station. Convertable full of chicks gassing up. Me all stylie on the bike...

Pull up. Kill engine. Kick the leg up and over. and then....at the apex of cool....completely forget the stand and dump the bike on the fuel island. Just let it go.

Man....what a moron i was.

So dont sweat it. Just replace your helmet. It could be done.

It's a common mistake to have the front handle bars placed incorrectly. Sometimes riders will have them turned opposite to the lean or kept straight. This makes for an unstable bike when parked. Cruiser or SS, doesn't matter.

What do most folks carry to put under their kickstand to prevent it going through soft/hot pavement and the bike falling over on really hot days? I came back to my ride quicksanding a little like this the other day like this and it has me a bit freaked...

Carry a crushed pop can or a sheet of plastic

Hey bud. I went out on my first, off my block, ride the other day. I dropped my bike twice trying to stop. I dropped it once in front of 4-5 fireman cleaning the bikes and fire truck. I am heading out again tonight so I hope it goes a little better. LOL.

A solid cup coaster would work too!
