First REAL motorcylce touring trip

Why is he walking the bike up to the Booth and on the Right side of the bike?

We had to turn our bikes off because otherwise our bikes will over heat and the batteries will drain. These sport bikes don't start charging the batteries properly until like 4,000 RPMs!

Not sure why he's pushing on the other side.

Now that the trip is done I'm starting to update my blog with details. Check it out if you got a few minutes to kill. There'll be more pics and stuff.

Cool.....border was brutal - my legs were cramping like crazy paddling along slow.

They allowed sport bikes to park out front under the veranda in plain view of the manager's office.

Same for Millstream in Coudersport. 24 hour desk and big windows and lights the bikes sat under.
Excellent.

We gave up half way up the bridge and turned the bikes on to clutch up the incline. As we were nearing the peak of the bridge, I could hear my ignition coils dying by the way the bike sounded when the throttle was blipped! You know I turned that **** off right quick! Didn't fancy bump starting one of the heaviest sport bikes known to man + 30 pounds of touring crap.

Last year it was 35 degrees in the sun.....about the same wait.....that was horrid.
And the damn sign said no wait just 20 minutes out.....grrrrr..could have hit the Rainbow.

Two weeks ago, wasted an hour crossing into the states at Fort Erie. The worst crossing I've had in a long time. Then this past weekend had the best crossing ever. Crossed into Canada at the Vermont/QC border in I91, not one other car around, rode straight up to the customs booth. Didn't even have time to take my earplugs out
