rain indeed sucks balls... watch out for the streetcar tracks!...they can be deadly when wet...and even dry sometimes!

Every new rider.."or even when switching between friends bikes", should give the brakes a good squeeze to feel the threshold point of the bike... please do this in a safe fall zone!... I know when we got the Goldwing it was one of the first exercises I practiced...at 720lbs you have to get to know how far you can take it...and what your panic stopping distance is!

Tank is a whooping $800 WITHOUT the heat shield. I will fix the one I have.

I shouldn't have touched the rear brakes, front would have done the job. I didn't need to stop fast or anything but in my attempt to slow down using the rear brake I locked it.
 
Thanks for the good wishes, I got my parts and it is the matter of getting it replaced. My hand is still sore so may not do it this weekend.
