What was your final cost to ride with all that tax and freight craps? Are you getting it plated with a key to ride home? How about insurance, if you don't mind?
 
I've been riding a 750 shadow for the last few years now and love it.

It's bulletproof, fun and looks good (to my eye).

Not sure what sprockets the new one's have, but if you ever want just a little more top speed (and to get through an intersection from a stop without shifting gears), going down a couple teeth on the rear sprocket was the best thing I ever did with mine.

I saw that they were selling new 2010's for a few bucks more than $5grand... the Phantom is a bit more, but sure looks sweet in black.

It was $10411.82 after all taxes, freight, boulevard screen, brackets, back rest and a cheap theft add-on

I'll be getting it plated and I'll be riding home that day. Insurance - full coverage with a $1,000 deductible is $3,300 which is 45% less than what anyone else wants to insure me for.

Today, I went to check on Phantom. It felt so comfy like you sat-in and not sat-on. Great bike no doubt and you must be riding a lot. What did you experience so far? Upload a pic with all your accessories installed (if done so).
 
I haven't stopped for long enough yet to put them on :P

I've only done city driving between etobicoke, Brampton, Milton and Mississauga as well as a bit of highway.

The bike is insanely comfortable, definitely an awesome choice.

hey randy...i was at your work today checking out gps units...told the guy i wanted it for my motorcycle and he proceeded to tell me about you and showed me the pic on the computers at the checkout...guessed it might've been you and lo and behold it is...congrats...that is a sweet bike...would like to get one myself but in the aero model with the full retro styled fenders...ride safe...ivana
