Um, it might just be my eyes but…That plate looks to about ready to fall off.Congrats on the bike. I’ll have me another on/off road fun machine sooner rather than later.

It's common for the rear plate holder and taillight to break from vibration and be replaced by an aftermarket kit.

DRZ for sure. A Couple of mods like a pipe and a carb (or buy one with already on) and you have a golden bike. I take mine to meaford and back on the highway (cobourg area), into the Ganny, on the shoulder, everywhere. I did montreal on my KLR 250 twice 500 K both ways no problem. Although I do agree the sport bike is better for going 120, that's all it has going for it imo. gl choosing a bike.
