English is a f'ed up language. I recall in grammar school "alot" was an accepted word. I don't know if it's because it's British English or what. But anyway I think it should be acceptable same as how these words:

It is not the color or race of the rioters/protestors that is the issue...it should be the reason as to why they are doing it to begin with.

What I don't understand is why the late-night announcement? Why didn't they wait until morning when it's (a) light out and (b) everyone is still in bed. Almost seems like a deliberate act, knowing what the result would be.

I think these rioters are like Toronto's Tamils. Only hurting their cause. I don't know enough about the case to swing either way; I applaud those Americans for going out to protest a social injustice; I disapprove of the way they go about it

The whole Brown family makes you just want to shake your head....

The biological father is calling for 'calm, peaceful protests' whereas the step-dad is saying "burn this motherf*** down", and the icing on the cake? the mother beating up her Mother-in-Law and robbing her, over who has the rights to sell merchandise. Oh dear....

NY Times also has photographs of the scene. I haven't seen photos of the body published anywhere, I'm not sure if they were provided to the public (or to the grand jury, even)

So far, interesting point of consistency in the interviews is that they almost always state that Brown stops, turns and faces the officer before he is fatally shot. Who knows if that has anything to do with witness accounts of the incident hitting the media almost immediately after it happened.

Things added in interviews that do not seem to be present in fact:
-Gun in Michael Brown's hand
-Taser in Darren Wilson's hand
-Extra cop riding shotgun with Wilson

"Interview Witness 35" is unusual in that "Special Agent" seems to be antagonizing the witness, telling them their testimony doesn't match some previous testimony, etc

They're pieces of **** currently basking in the spotlight and trying to claw in whatever they can from their dumb son's death. It's easy when you live in a town full of other idiots who are ready to burn their own neighbourhoods for no good reason whatsoever.
