As long as those "snobby" people help pay the bills, Why complain?

And once again the "motorsports" pat of the name was just to put the business in context. It could very well be motorcycles, scooters, motorsports. That part is irrelevant.

Grand Touring Motors.
You can e-transfer me a %.

Mad max is a great idea - NOT - for these racer shining bikes!! Call it Rossi or something to represent your desire going after your high end stuff.

Rossi Motorsports - NO, unless owned by someone named Rossi
McQueen Motorsports - Same as above. Unless your last name is McQueen... forget it

GTA Motorsports is also a bad name... pretty dull for a motorcycle business

Also, Grand Touring Motors is not good because there is already a Grand Touring Autos. It's going to get confusing or you are going to get sued

Bancarotta!

its Italian for bankrupt............

lmao
A shop where everyone is welcome...seems more viable in this trying economy...but hey

I agree with the others in this thread in that you need to cater to a niche area of the GTA cycling community. Unfortunately, for an area where half of the riding community is only on their bikes for less than 6 months, the crowd buying exotic bikes is extremely small. Likely not large enough to keep you afloat.

First consider your location, then do some more research on what other shops in that area are specializing in. As for high-end stuff, most people favor Riders Choice (west end), or GP Bikes (east end). The only major central dealership would be Kahuna, and they do everything, but mostly Japanese (I think).

What I'm getting at is: consider another angle other than just high-end stuff. Lots of dealerships focus on a certain market, AS WELL as offering high end bikes/parts/support. Racing community support (Riders Choice, GP bikes, Blustreak, Pannon), or you can focus on Touring/commuting accessories (Royal Distributing).

Personally, I wanna see someone defy the "Parts Canada" standard BS catalogue, and start bringing in parts & accessories straight from the manufacturers (and at much better prices). Maybe have an on-line store that offers local pick up, and perhaps a "rare parts" order service, where customers can request something hard to find, and then do a group buy to find other interested people to keep the price(s) reasonable.

The actual name of the place is probably the least most important thing - as long as its easy to remember/lookup/spell and somewhat catchy.

Corsa Meccanica sells some high brands in Vaughan.
