Favorite Bike color schema

Ok, I am bored at my WFH "office" so I am going through pictures, thinking about colors of bikes...

But thirst of all - it is not an invitation for bragging how many bikes you had, all what matter is the color...
Second, I personally think about color as the last bike's attribute, and sometimes by chance I am happy with it...

So, in my history I had:
- a few solid Blue bikes (dark Blue, light blue, etc.) - not a big fan but it's ok
- bunch of Red/Whites (you know the brand) - hate red and even more i hate white
- one Grey Metallic - loved it - best color so far for me
- current bike is Blue and Silver (and little bit of Gold) - I like it, let's say I don't hate it, it's ok

I never had:
- Green bikes - I hope my next one will be one, I like green in general
- Yellow - hope it never happen to me
- Black - wouldn't mind
- camo - extra points every time
- rainbow/race - those with too many colors - not for me unless s/one sponsors me :)

Now, what colors did you have?
What would be the ideal color schema?
Do you consider color when picking a new (to you) bike?
feel free to post pics to illustrate :)

Ok, here is my most favorite color so far - Dark Grey Metallic on SV650s (wish that bike had 100 more hp)

Red, Ducati Red. or anything else in Black . But Ducati Red.

Yes, I just realized Duc like Ferrari has to be Red, but I still take Black Duc every single time at that price can choose the color no probs :)

I can't say I like one particular colour over another but what I do like are colour schemes:

Thought I do like this 675 colour

You can't ride a black bike anywhere and still have it look clean. Always a layer of dirt/dust on it and I'll never have another.
My 2009 GSXR1000 was my favourite to look at. Looks just ok in photos but in person the blue actually has lots of metallic and the white is pearl. Both would change colour depending on light/angle. Here's a photo that somewhat captures it.

I prefer to avoid white and green. All other colors i am game
Similar. White, black, and green (specifically the late Kawi Monster Energy Green) I am not big on. Anything else is alright. I was pretty fond of the "DULL GREENISH BLUE METALLIC 1" of my '91 Radian.

If I had a Duc it would have to be red.
Honda, I'm a fan of the blue/red/white/gold scheme (e.g. 86 VF500F)
Yamaha has a bunch... straight Yamaha blue is good, the bumblebee scheme is good, and the red/white scheme they had on the R7 is also good.
Suzuki... hmm. It depends, they have a bunch of outliers (Hayabusa, new Katana) but I liked the late 90's yellow/white/black.
Kawi - not the green, anything but the green. Mid 2000's they had a nice metallic blue and metallic orange. I was also very happy with the red scheme on my 2011 1000SX. Mid 90's pale green is OK!

I love bright colours...my CBR125 was black and white...my FZ6R I LOVED as it was white, with a red seat and gold rims (2010 model)...my Virago 500 was burgundy and my FZ07 has a red tank...I absolutely LOVE the turquoise R3 (2021 model) and would get it in a heartbeat if it wasn't for being a 300...(not that I have anything against 300s, just that everyone tells me I would be disappointed after having the FZ07)...

I dont really like black, or brown *cough panamerica*

I like red, also like orange, or the yellow on ducati's of old

Really like the orange/white/blue color on KTMs as well

Do looks matter? I think so, if its not pretty it better at least be striking (MT10, KTMs etc)

Nothing is worse than ugly AND dull

I've had lots of colors: red, white, blue, green, silver, black, yellow, my favorites are deep pearl reds.

Honda Antares red is my all time favorite.

I've had blue, black, red, red, orange, and now white.

As I age I'm looking for something non-descript, that doesn't stand out.

Red Hondas...I've had a few.. starting with the 305 Superhawk in the 60s and several more ST1100, CBF1000, D'eauville 650, CB500x, even a couple of dual sports in red and the KLR650 in rather dull red.

CB500x the only brand new bike and barely got to ride it.
Next fav is white which I have now in CB300F...liked my white Vstrom and pearlescent white Burgman Exec
( for $17k it had better be good paint )

Then black, Vstrom 650 and RD400.

White everything these days makes me look like a cop and that's fine. I want to be visible.
Added a white Shark Evoline to the ensemble since this pic. The part white top case is 1/2 vanity 1/2 practical due to the tropical sun cooking my gear inside. It was only $40 to add the colour panel. White handguards are pure vanity :coffee:

My favourite color schemes of all time have to be these two.

Favourite colorscheme on a bike I've actually owned has to be the Aprilia rs250. Pictures never capture the amazing dark blue that turns an almost purple color in the sun.
