Fat tire bicycles?

I guess I'm a little overwhelmed by all the bike types. Looks like that thing is a winner then?

There's all sorts of declinations of the Dew too. Disc brakes, rim brakes, different gearing types, etc.

Overwhelming.

Has Kenda all surface tires on fast rolling aluminum wheels. What else do you need to know? I don't see a down side.

I haven't been impressed by kenda motorcycle tires, in some circles they're known as widowmakers (though they are long lasting), hopefully their bicycle tires are made of better stuff.

I don't know, I took that information right off of Kona "Whoopdeedoo" Dews' online information sheet. And what circles? Is that a pun?

Just learned that KMC is a major manufacturer of bicycle chains. My FJ is rocking a 530 KMC chain. Who'da thunk.

As for kenda.... I absolutely love their xc tires. Been running them for a while now with more than great results in all kinds of terrain.

Oh, I see you're off on a different tangent no wonder that didn't strike a chord with me. No tire pun intended. Venn huh? Nice.

Stay away from Hayes brakes...
Bomber shocks are also discontinued in North America as the company is going under, parts are hard to find.
They are also fazing out 26" wheels.
29ers are ok for grommet trails but if your into heavy single track riding go with 27.5" wheels, best of both worlds.

But fatbikes are relatively new and evolving quickly, so if you want some future-proofness and desirability there are some notable recent market trends you'd want to account for.

26" wheels wont be disappearing for a long while. too many cheap chinese builders making them and they wont retool for a 27.5 wheel.

high quality 26 wheels may get rarer as time goes on.
