Fall colors in Algonquin Park

Im in...been watching this thread alot lately. Sounds fantastic, just got the bike serviced(48,000). I'm thinking about meeting the group in Norland at the Esso. It's just north of the traffic light just outta town on the left. Would be a good fuel stop after the group comes from Barrie/Orillia way. On a sidenote..Rafiki-if we stop for lunch somewhere than I'm buying yours. I still owe you for helping out my Moms neighbour last November. Looking forward to the hike as well. See you around 11am in Norland!!

The Esso station sounds like a good meet up spot.
I'm going to have to wait until the morning to check the weather before I commit.
I'll post here in the morning if I'm going.
 
anyone from mississauga heading to this ride? if so is their a meet spot already made in mississauga or is anyone interested in meeting up then going to meet up with everyone else?

I'm in Mississauga, but still debating on going due to the forecast.
If I decide to go, where and what time you want to meet?
 
Also from Mississauga in the same boat, will see how the weather is in the morning. What part of Missy is everyone from? Maybe meet somewhere off the 400? I'm near Dixie mall so can meet anywhere near QEW, 427, 401, or 400.
 
im on laKeshore maybe for anyone from mississauga that decides to go we can meet up at square one? that way we can just jump on 401 to 400.. PM if any one is interested.

Meeting my friend at the Timmies just west of the 400 on steels for 8am and leaving at 8:30. You guys are welcome to join us:)

If your ride is a go, the colours are ripe up north! I did not get into Algonquin, but I did do Cooper Falls, 118, 35 to 60. I turned home instead of going through algonquin due to weather (it was rainy) and I did not properly dress for it.

Yea I know the colors are at 100% rite now and will only start to fall from here on :(.
It's tmro or miss the peak at this point, lets see why tmro brings us for the forecast.
 
Just got home from a ride in that area....go go go the couloirs are phenomenal! Dorset lookout will be busy and I gave them a heads up on the meet so they'll have some space allocated for a group! Got cold and wet and tired on the way home but worth every ache!
Watch out for photographers around bends they tend to run across the road!

I caged it up with the wife and kids today, the colors were beautiful. Did not see any wildlife
