Fairing repair

My bike had an unscheduled meeting with the pavement today. Fairing is cracked near the mirror and the windscreen is toast.

Does anyone repair fairings in the GTA? I don't want to buy an entire chinese set if I don't have to.

Boo... sorry to hear that. I'm curious too since I cracked my front fairing too. Maybe there's someone on here like Les (Cheekeebandito) used to be.

Thanks. I hope so too. Fairings on this thing are rare. It seems to be a pretty clean break and there are no scuffs or scratches. At least it's at the end of the season

You can DYI with JB Weld 2 part plastic repair and back it up with aluminized muffler tape.
A little Bondo in the external crack, some Duplicolor touchup paint and you're done.
Its not going to be perfect, but it will be strong enough to get you through until maybe you can find a replacement at the boneyard.

@crankcall named some 2 part stuff that he uses on his saily boats
can't recall the name but I looked it up at the time and it sounded good

I've used ABS cement before; used some cloth medical tape and lathered some more on in the inside. Touch up painted the front and no one noticed that it was ever broken.
Never tried to re-break it myself, but I'm pretty sure if I tried, it would've broken in new places and not where I re-pieced together.
Had it repaired for 2 seasons until I sold it earlier this year.
