I’m building a another RD350LC. This one is a bit of a resto-mod using a RZ350 bottom end as a set of CPI 66mm Cub Cylinders and a +5 billet crank.
This will provide 403 cc’s of CO2 emitting, global warming, ice melting fun.
The engine was finished before Christmas and I was waiting on the pipes so I can go ahead and get it mocked up. It was better than Christmas last night when I got home and there was a new set from Mr. Turfrey on the doorstep. It took over 6 months as he is just crazy busy but it’s worth the wait.
These are designed for mid to top end, hence the big fat belly.
Brian was the gentleman who designed and built the pipes for Kenny Roberts and then for the Yamaha Works teams through to 1997, and then for the KR3. If you look at this picture the welds look very familiar.
