This ride is not for beginners. You would get hurt. If you are an experienced rider, then no problem as long as you show up with proper gear. We do not let squids ride with us.
 
long shot but does anybody here have a spare exhaust strap for an oval can? something for a rs-3 or a muzzy or a hindle...

Where do you guys ride too? I've done snake and forks. What makes the ride not for beginners? The route? The speed?

That and elsewhere. Possibly neither. Depends what we feel like doing. Varies from one week to the next. Non-disclosure policy in effect.

Beginners are discouraged if they don't know how to corner properly yet. None of the rest of us has any interest in picking riders and bikes out of the bushes. Need to be able to go around a corner without slowing down too much and without falling off the bike or going off the road. NO CRASHING. If you can handle that, and you have proper riding gear, then bring it out!

This ride is not about straight line speed. That is intentionally kept down, so as not to attract the wrong kind of attention. And so far ... that has worked.
 
Sounds good. Maybe next week after I pick up proper riding shoes. Do you guys wear any specific riding pants?
 
Ummm Full gear ... In my case, Nexo two-piece zip-together leather suit, Forma boots, Velocity gloves, Shark helmet ...
 
I'm going to come one day in sandals and shorts no shirt hehe. Actually I'm probably too chicken to leave the driveway like that.

Gonna have a newer rider tag along today, he should be fine. I've been prepping him for a month or so now on some of the roads you've taken us on so he shouldn't have any issues in the back. I'm stoked to go out again though, I keep missing these due to physio and work.
 
Awesome ride tonight. May have been the change of bike but man, some of those roads were wayback playbacks. And a new finish too. Good Job Brian!
