As usual when there's a race weekend coming up, I'm 50/50 odds whether I'll be there. Couldn't do it last week, too much stuff to do in the shop. Still have a to-do list for this week, we'll see.

OK, I'm calling it for 7:00 leave time.
That means get there befroe 6:45. Leaving right at 7:00.
I don't want to hear that people showed up at 7:05 and we were gone.
If you show up after 7 you've missed the ride.
Would like to have a chat with any new riders before we go out.
Please be there early if your new.

It looks like I'll be able to go this week. BUT. Something needs to be cleared up. (Again.)
I saw this http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=112530 and maybe this week we might get some "refugees". In the interest of managing expectations ... the departure time is FIRM. If you are filling up with gas at 7:00 ... if you are emptying your bladder at 7:00 ... U snooz U looz. So, fill your gas tank and take care of business FIRST and be ready to roll at the departure time. This is not different from how we've always done it and it seems no different from the other ride that there seem to be complaints about. But there you go. It's in writing. Black and white. If you get left behind because you were filling up with gas, or rolled into the lot at 7:01 to find nobody there, don't come complaining to me.
And the other item ... and some folks might understand why I'm putting this in writing (again). If you can't keep the front wheel down, if you can't resist the temptation to do a wheelie at every opportunity, if you can't keep your vehicle firmly under control, go ride somewhere else. Stunters and show-offs are NOT welcome here. There will NOT be excessive speeds involved, either. We cannot afford the consequences in this day and age. There has been a tendency for police to throw charges every which way after something happens, and see what sticks, and I don't want to deal with the consequences of someone else's screw-up.

I hope I'll be able to join you guys Thursday. I am still waiting for parts. BTW Brian, it was the roller on the roker arm, I think it may have somthing with the oil I was using as motul is API SM and the motorex I should use is API SG

Holy crap, poor lucky draggin dude !!! everyone turned against him. He was saying he comes on thursdays but don't remember him. The other guy with the leaving me behind :binky: cause he was to busy talking when he could of gassed up. it's common sence to gas up before a ride. Sooo much Drama in that post I feel for lucky Draggin cause he was trying to organise a ride for people and they turn their back. Wow no consideration. Pls let's never get to this point on this ride ** NO DRAMA PLS **

lol Zeus.. you'll remember me if u see me. Brian P knows me pretty well. I don't go around in public calling myself 'lucky draggin' haha. I usually can't make your rides on time which is why I only made it to about 4 of em last year.
you'll recognize the faster guys at the front of our rides too because they all come out for your ride Scotty, Longhorn, GSXmaer... yah we're fairly fast on group rides but no faster than you guys! (with the exception of Maer who likes to get crazy and that intimidates some ppl he's a wildcard.. always has been)
We do get FAST at times.. but that's just the four of us.. on our own... lol
anyways.. it's all hype and it'll die down like anything else.
Soon as I can make it out on time (with a full tank) I'll see u again soon.

Ya that was a good one. I got rained on by little pebblesat one point taking a turn too but was worth it.
It was nice to do that one in reverse I like it this way, didn't even know where I was until we where on XX side rd then I was like ahhhh I know where I am then you lost me again Brian somewhere in the woods
