C'mon what is it that caused the bus to hit the cyclist?

Look up the back story. It's one of road rage by both bus driver and cyclist. The bus driver deserves the guilty verdict and the jail time, but the cyclist was no angel in this either. One could say the cyclist was just as stupid and reckless as the bus driver, but without the 12 ton weight advantage.

You'd hope there would be some humanity in a situation like this. The bus driver was obviously angry, just like Att. Gen. whatshisname. You'd hope with the vehicular superiority that he'd turn the other cheek. But nooo....

I say the bus driver didn't mean to hit the rider, I think there was a slope on the road to the left, the poor bus driver was distracted and only has a few years of experience driving the bus, so he by mistake rolled to the left and hit the rider, it can happen and none of you (even with video evidence) can beyond reasonable doubt proof the bus driver ment to hit the rider.

I say the rider should be sued by the bus driver for defamation

i noticed that the bus signaled to change lanes to the right.

however, we did not see the turn signal turn left, just before this " shift "

I therefore conclude that the CCTV camera must be faulty, and its the fault of whoever installed it

also the city is at fault, for not keeping the streets level, which caused both parties to swerve in directions they didnt want to go.

Well yes, do you know the medical condition of the said bus driver? he could be diabetic and didn't have enough sugar on his breakfats , causing him to have low sugar levels, this plus the slope on the road caused him to turn left instead of right when he was trying to desperately scape from the aggressive bicycle rider. A common mistake amongst bus drivers and the video is far from conclusive.

I think you all are witch hunting.... Think about the poor bus drivers little cousins..think about the damage this may be causing his family, I am sure he is not afraid of public opinion, but please think of the children

I also think that the poor bus driver plead guilty but once he got to his jail and saw the video he changed his mind and realised he was innocent and there is an appeal soon to be introduced
