Engine Replacement Help..?

if you look at his previous threads from last year, he was advised to sell the bike for a ninja 250

:lmao:
I guess he couldn't resist with all the endorsement from sexually confused K-pop celebs like BigBang, SuperJunior and DBSK.

Friend did

Lol it's like what you do to replace light bulb, here we go, put table under the light fixture have one guy hold on to the bulb and have another 4 guys rotate the table clockwise.

have you actually done this?

I did it on my 04 zx10. I swapped the frame so I had everything removed from the frame with the engine supported, worked perfectly. It was actually easier than lifting the motor into my Gsxr but doing a motor replacement you have a rolling chassis to deal with so lifting the frame over the engine with the forks, wheels, swingarm all attached would be a pain.

exactly my point. If you are doing a whole frame swap..it is easier to put the frame on the motor, or "lower frame on to motor".

If if you are doing what this OP is doing, just a motor swap. It does not make sense to "Lower frame on to motor", you'd need to remove the front / rear wheels, and angle the chassie if you don't want to remove the forks. Wrestling a chassis that's 200-300lbs doesn't work for me. It is much easier to lift the motor into the frame.

The hyo has a tubular frame, the side should come off. With the tank removed, it should slide in (easier said than done.)
