Electric Truck - Anyone have a Ford Lightning or Pre Order a Silverado EV?

I'm lucky, the main panel is on the basement wall facing the driveway, my cable run would be less than a meter.
I gave another 100a panel in the garage.
Been waiting for the day I get an EV. The Silverado WT is the first that makes sense for my needs. Hopefully its not smoke and mirrors.

That one has the colossal 212 kWh battery from the Hummer EV, and supposedly WT models with that battery are going to be built first, but that's not the US$40k version. They haven't released specs on a smaller-battery version or what the price (and weight) increment is for the big battery.
The Hummer battery has two layers of cells. It ought to be pretty simple to make a half-size version with one layer (and about 1400 lb less weight). I'll guess 250 mile (400 km) range (carrying less weight should make it a bit more efficient). Even that would be good enough for most people.
